victoria s asked:

Who is for and who is against weight loss pills? I`m doing some sort of a survey among you people so I can decide whether I will take some weight loss pills in order to lose almost 30 pounds or not. If you don`t agree to weight loss drugs, what else besides eating vegetables do you suggest?

Hello! I don`t agree to weight loss pills. I believe you must lose weight the same way you gained weight.. The best way to lose weight is the healthy way. Just keep your calorie intake under control and things will work out great! I work a lot so I use an online diet and workout planner to count my calories. There`s a good one at, and it’s free. in case you`re interested in losing weight the “usual” way, that’s a great choice. In my opinion, this is the safest and healthiest way to stay in shape.

I think if they really worked, there wouldn’t be any fat people left.
Exercise (walk 2 miles a day) and count calories–eat no more than 1300.

Eat less, exercise more – there is no quick fix to drop weight.

There is a great TV Show called ‘You Are What You Eat’ on BBC America – if you can’t get this show check out

The doctor on this show has helped a lot of folk look what they eat, their relationship with food and their life style.

I’m not super skinny, and I’d like to drop some weight too – but just dieting alone will mean that as soon as you stop you’ll just gain it back, and then some.

Pills are not a magic bullet – look at your lifestyle and make some small changes and you’ll be surprised by the results.

    Hi,

I lost 5kg in 2 weeks. For the last 5 years I have had fantastic results with Xenical for weight loss. And the best part is that I never had to suffer from hunger pangs or deprive myself of all the wonderful food I enjoyed. After about 3 weeks I was able to happily choose if I wanted to eat those fattening foods or not.

Xenical helps do this by working on the absorption of fat in your body instead of suppressing your appetite. The main ingredient in Xenical is orlistat and when taken with a meal it works on the enzymes in your stomach and ensures that about 30% of the fats eaten in the meal is not absorbed into the body and therefore excreted undigested.

When you compare calories, the 9 calories per gram of fat is more than double that of 4 calories for protein and 4 calories for carbohydrates. In fact when I first started with Xenical I had to reduce my intake of diabetic medication because of this sharp drop in calorific intake. And within a few days I started to see the pounds coming off for the first time in my life and the feeling was just so exhilarating.

Its now been 5 years and I am able to maintain my ideal weight and feeling so much fitter. As always check with your doctor before embarking on any weight loss program.
